After several years of "yo-yoing" between the 1st and the LNB league, teams Montreux and Vevey, were interspersed with exciting derbies. Both clubs have chosen to unite their respective water polo section for the start of the 1992 season.

From this union was born MV Riviera who finished 3rd LNB den for its first season at national level!

The next season aims are to be promoted in LNA, the Committee undertook a Croatian player coach. This decision was crowned by the promotion of LNA.

Meanwhile, younger players distinguished themselves in the Swiss junior championship by finishing 2nd twice!

18 years after Water Polo, MV Riviera is still there and more determined than ever to write new pages of its interesting history!!
